This paper considers Hannah Weiner's collage practice as a species of bricolage in keeping with early twentieth-century practitioners such as Tzara and Schwitters. In operating in this disparaged modality and refusing the closure of conventional able-bodied texts, Weiner's work may thus be construed as a "disabled text."
